At the recent Enterprise 2.0 Conference in Boston, there was a clear divide between the old and new, more specifically social media and traditional structure. Many executives are dubious of the developing corporate acceptance of social media tools. Recent hard times will be a test to many business leaders. Will they embrace social media or retreat to tried and true marketing? Despite the clear successes of many traditional companies, it appears some might still choose the latter.
