Guestsourcing is the combination of user generated content and crowdsourcing. It is a new hospitality term that has been created out of necessity. Potential patrons don’t have a great deal of trust in marketers and often find their way to blogs and independent customer reviews. Hotels need to harness that content and direct their clients to it. Not only does it show the company as honest but also proud of their patrons past experiences. As a result, the customer will feel comfortable making that reservation and maybe even blog about it afterward.
