How long are the sessions?
The sessions are an hour long: 45 min presentation followed by 15 min of Q&A.
When are the sessions held?
The sessions are held every Tuesday and Thursday at 9 a.m. Pacific, 11 a.m. CST, and 12 p.m. Eastern.
How do I attend the sessions?
Enroll: The first step is to enroll in the program. You can go to http://womma.org/certificate/enroll/ to enroll.
Review: After you enroll, check your email inbox for an email confirmation related to the program. Emails will include a copy of your registration form, information about class procedures, and contact information for WOM-COMM.
Register: You will receive an email notifying you of the registration process. Students should register before each class session to reserve a seat.
Attend: To attend the class, you need access to a computer with internet access and a phone. You simply click the link to the live session and get ready for a great educational experience.
Are the sessions recorded?
Yes, the sessions are recorded. Students can listen to the audio of the session and view the presentation deck after each week’s session. You will receive an email after each session with a link to the presentation.
Will I have to go online at specific times?
It is strongly suggested that you attend the live session. The live session provides the opportunity to interact with the class. However, the audio and presentation deck are available after each live session.
Do I have to attend every session?
While it is strongly recommended that you attend each live session, you are not required to attend each session. However, you are required to review the content presented and complete the final quiz and survey in order to qualify for the program certificate.
What happens if I need to miss a class?
If you are unable to attend any session in the series, you must notify Jill Lowthian at Jill@WOMMA.org no less than 24 hours in advance of that week's scheduled session. Absentee approval will be confirmed via email within the same 24 hour time period. Non-approved absentee requests will result in your dismissal from the program and forfeiture of your registration fee. Your approved absence does not exclude you from taking the required quiz and survey.
What if I didn’t receive the presentation deck, audio recording, and quiz?
Contact certificate@WOMMA.org and we will send to you.
Can I connect with other students and faculty?

Are there any system requirements to view the webinar?
To attend a Webinar on a PC, the following is required:
* Internet Explorer® 6.0 or newer, Mozilla® Firefox® 3.0 or newer (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled)
* Windows® 7, Vista, XP, 2003 Server or 2000
* Cable modem, DSL or better Internet connection
* Minimum of Pentium® class 1GHz CPU with 512 MB of RAM (Recommended) (2 GB of RAM for Windows® Vista)
* Please note, Google Chrome is incompatible with GoToWebinar. Participants wishing to connect to audio using VoIP will need a fast Internet connection (384 kbps or more recommended), a microphone and speakers (a USB headset is recommended).
Do I get credit for these classes?
This class is not an accredited program. However, you do receive a certificate of successful completion. In addition, students can prove their mastery of the subject to their employers and list the certificate on their resume.
Are there tests or homework?
Each week there may be required reading material to improve your comprehension of the subject material. A final quiz and survey will be given after the final session. Completion of these is required in order to qualify and receive the WOMM-COM certificate of completion.
Are there course materials or reading requirements?
Yes, there may be additional course material provided by the instructor. A suggested reading list is given to each of the students, but the reading is not required.
How will I receive my certificate?
All participants' names that earn a certificate will be posted on the web following the conclusion of the course and you can download and print. You must complete all six sessions and the final quiz and survey in order to complete the course and earn your certificate.
Is there a non-profit discounted registration rate?
Yes, there is a non-profit discounted rate. Each organization is judged on a case by case basis.
Is there a discount for groups with multiple members?
Yes, there is a discount for groups with multiple members. Pricing can be found on the enrollment page.
Can I pay for WOMM-COM by invoice or P.O.?
Yes. If you have registered and have chosen to pay by invoice, your invoice must be paid in full 24 hours in advance of the start of the first session in order to participate. Students with outstanding invoices will be dropped from the program.
What is your refund policy?
Students are entitled to a refund before the class begins. There are no refunds after the course starts and no refunds 2 weeks before the course date.
