The WOMMYs celebrate the very best ideas and most effective campaigns in word of mouth marketing today. Since 2006, the Word of Mouth Marketing Association (WOMMA) has recognized the people, agencies, and brands behind the most remarkable word of mouth marketing campaigns. The 2009 WOMMY Awards will once again recognize the most remarkable word of mouth campaigns from the past year.
To better reflect the evolution of word of mouth marketing as a strategic discipline, WOMMA has increased the publicity for WOMMY award winners and added new award categories. All case studies from WOMMY award winners will be included in a published book and the top seven WOMMY Gold award winners will have their case studies published in Advertising Age. Additionally, the top seven winners will receive main stage visibility at the November 2009 WOMMA Summit in Las Vegas when they present their case study.
